We regret to inform you that the reopening of the Trail Aquatic and Leisure Centre’s main pool and whirlpool, originally scheduled for Monday, September 8, has been delayed due to the unexpected failure of critical mechanical equipment during system startup.

At this time, there is no confirmed timeline for reopening. The City of Trail Parks and Recreation recognizes the inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience while the issue is being addressed.

Individuals registered for programs or lessons will be contacted directly regarding rescheduling or compensation options. Annual shutdown rates will remain in effect until the natatorium has reopened. City staff are committed to ensuring fair and timely communication throughout this process.

The fitness centre will reopen on September 8 to its regular hours:

Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
